Aivalsoft EFB v2

Featured Replies

Anybody else peed off about Aivlasoft shutting up shop and leaving it's paid customers in the lurch?. Just had a total crash, had to re-install and format my nvme and totally lost my backup copy as well. Annoying part is they could have left the site up for paid customers to redownload their copies. They took the money, decided they'd had enough and walked away without any regard for users. After scouring the net, cannot find a copy to purchase. really, really peed off

A lesson I suppose... Keep your backups off the main computer lest they be lost in a crash.

The website message says,

29 April 2024

This applies to all versions of products "AivlaSoft EFB" and "AivlaSoft SimpleCam":

For economic reasons, it is unfortunately no longer possible to continue with project "AivlaSoft".

The sale of software "AivlaSoft EFB" has been discontinued with immediate effect.

Further development and maintenance of the source code must be discontinued as of April 30, 2024.

The support forum and support by email can only be operated until June 30, 2024, after which support will no longer be available.

For legal reasons, it is unfortunately not possible to offer the products listed above as freeware.

Recommended replacement products:
- LittleNavMap (freeware)
- Navigraph Charts (payware)

It's not the only piece of software to be abandoned unfortunately...

I use LittleNavMap and banking camera myself.

@Baz_Aus , do you need the installation file or not?

Regarding Aivlasoft, it was developed by a single person and once sales dried up it was too expensive to keep the site running.

Urs suggested to me that users would still be able to reinstall EFB should it be necessary.
