August 7, 200322 yr Hi all, Don. I am repainting the Tri-Motor in FS9. They use (as with all default planes) that damned autogen N number. I have an article about getting rid of them, but it takes a hex editor. Is there any way to do this without a hex editor? I don't have the $$ to go buy a hex editor to change N numbers. Thanks all.Don
August 7, 200322 yr I don't know if this is of any use, but have you noticed the checkbox in that dialog where you set tail no and flight no? You can disable it there. :-)
August 7, 200322 yr Maybe off topic, but no-one has to buy a hexeditor. There are several for free, e.g. XVI32 available at http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/free...xvi32/xvi32.htmArne Bartels
August 7, 200322 yr Great my friend. Thank you. I figured it would default back to 700MS or something. It reads what I wrote into the cfg. now. Thanks again.Don
August 7, 200322 yr Thanks Arne! I just grabbed it. Could you tell me how to get the listings on the right to appear in words and not the code? Thanks!!Don
August 9, 200322 yr Author A typical hex editor will not decompile code... just list it in hex and text. (although by now, there probably is one that can *grin*)
