Hello, I was hoping some of you IT guys could help me out. I'm looking to purchase a .com website. It's unused and I need to buy it, and I need the most inexpensive option available. I was wondering if someone could direct to the right place to buy it for cheap.Thanks,Jeff

I'm not an expert on this stuff but domain names are easily purchased through operations like GoDaddy.com and they can later be freely transferred to other internet service providers. If all you watn to do to begin with is to reserve the domain names, you probably will be able to do .com/.net/.org for under $30 for the first year.

Godaddy will do and will set you back $10.

$10 for one name. I was suggesting sewing up the .com, .org and .net variants, all of which can be done for $27 as of last week as I recall, when I did four such 3-name purchases.
