Here's the syntax:I've deleted the Tooltip tag's details for clarity. I'm confused on the left right part of the "area" command.In my Engine Oil gauge, the left side is the Pressure, yet that side is related to the top tag. I'm guessing the number is pixels.Anyone clarify this?

You are correct. The numbers are pixels and refer to the whole gauge bitmap.The

Isn't it the other way round?"Area Right" is the right border in pixel of that mouse area, so the area is LEFT of the right border. Therefore "Area Left" alone means the right side.If there is no Area specified, the mouse area has the same size and position as the next higher mouse area, if there is none higher, the gauges borders are taken. With every "Area ..." statement you limit the aforementioned area size. An "Area Top" limits to top, so everything below is valid. "Area Bottom" limits to bottom => higher is valid. "Area Left" limits to the left => right area is valid, etc... .Arne Bartels

Actually, you both said the same thing, Arne, except your's is a bit clearer to read.In practice, I've found it much easier to stick with:TopLeftHeightWidthThus, when laying out a grid over the gauge background, all areas may be defined quickly and consistently... :)

Thanks guys, I was able to understand both of you. I knew it was simple once you understood the crazy logic behind it. I'm surprized I didn't get it. Probably not the easiest thing to get a 4am, haha.Anyway, now I understand it. Thanks again.
