August 7, 200421 yr Does FS Panel Studio allow for editing of 3D cockpit gauge placement or is it limited to 2D panel work?PSB
August 7, 200421 yr It is possible to edit the gauges in the vc as well. in the shots below, you can see the 2d panel is the top picture, and the bottom pic is the vc gauge sheet. 3rd party developers have different layouts of how they texture the gauges on their sheets, so every aircraft is different. August 7, 200421 yr Moderator What Kobie didn't mention is this:While you can EDIT Vcockpit entries in FS Panel Studio, you must CREATE the initial entries in the panel.cfg manually. This is not a difficult thing to do (simply cut-n-paste the VcockpitXX headers from a default a/c), it is a required step.Once done, you can then load the panel.cfg in FSPS and tweak away.CAUTION! Do NOT, under ANY circumstance attempt to DELETE a VcockpitXX from FSPS. Trying to do this will THROUGHLY munge up the rest of the panel.cfg entries! Fr. August 8, 200421 yr Author You can cut and paste and add gauges normally in the VC using FSPS (assuming you have a VC already). The only trick is that the VC does not come up as an option when you first load the panel into FSPS. Just load any screen of the panel when you load it initially, then go to the window option of the title bar (Alt-W) then scroll down the to Vcockpit## you wish to work on.
