January 29, 200521 yr Moderator I have an interesting question. I have a model with a parachute (yes, it's the Cirrus) in the exterior model, which shows up in the Preview Window very, very tiny sized, even though the chute isn't displayed in the window.I seem to recall that there is a way that I can force the sim to recognize the true radius of the a/c in both the sim and the Preview Window through editing the interior and exterior .asm files and recompiling.Does anyone know how this may be done? January 30, 200521 yr Hi Bill,in FSDS2 you add a reference part called aircraft.radius (I had the same problem with my drag chute), but I know you use Gmax. From memory, I thought this was discussed over at Freeflight Design.Cheers,Nick

I know that there's a comment in the exterior model ES_SR20_1.asm file that shows the "reported radius" as some absurd number:; Modeling units = 1024.0000; Radius = 26.9423; Radius in meters = 26.9423; Radius in modeling units = 27589instead of what the actual radius is:; Modeling units = 1024.0000; Radius = 5.4865; Radius in meters = 5.4865; Radius in modeling units = 5619but where the actual number is buried in the .asm file is a mystery to me...
