April 24, 200818 yr Hi everyoneI was wondering if anyone would know the rough altitude the B747-400Ds would cruise at, since they only fly domestically (or do they? Has anyone seen one of these non-winglet -400's away from Japan, maybe filling in for a -400 under maintenance, etc). Seems to me a packed 747 (and apparently they fly pretty full of people) would take a while to climb to any great height. Is there much of a difference in quoted range between the -400 and -400D?Thanks in advance, SLuggy I do not have a signature. Why are you reading this?
