Do We Need Windows XP SP3?

Hi all,unfortunately, I had to completely uninstall XP/SP3 and revert back to SP2.With the new patch, when standing still, there was no performance hit (see may previous post) BUT when I really used (flew) FSX with SP3 I got a lot of heavy stuttering and extra system disk activity that I had never seen before.As soon as I got rid of SP3 (thank GHOST...)I had a smooth system again.Actually, I had (and have now again) a pure XP/SP2 installation, with no security patch or whatsoever, and when I installed SP3, I got the highest before/after step, so your mileage may vary.Good luck to anyone who wants to try.RegardsFulvio
