July 26, 200520 yr Hey guys, going mad here. Been working in 3DSMax and for the life of me I can not figure out how to imnvert a poly. For instance, to take the exterior fuse and select the polys and invert to make the inside. I assume it is similar to Gmax so I was hoping someone here had a clue.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW

July 26, 200520 yr Thanks Bill, guess Gmax and 3DSmax are a bit different after all since I see no "flip normals" on the drop down, BUT, I wasn't looking for "normals" before so that helped, thanks!Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW

You won't find it... Use the rollout menus on the right side of the screen...The "rollouts" are virtually identical. In E-Mesh mode, select Polygon sub-level, select all polys, check off the "Show Normals", now......scroll down - down - down - down - all the way to "Surface Properties" In that sub-rollout you will see a big, honking "button" cleverly labeled "Flip" ;)In E-Poly mode, select the Element sub-level, select Element(s) as desired, then scroll down - down - down - to the "Edit Elements" sub-rollout, click once on the "Flip" button.
