:DThe only time we ever had the airport fire service out to an aircraft at BHD had nothing to do with a fire. We'd just loaded (!) a very frail wheelchair user when the captain of the Q400 decided he needed a fuel uplift. You're not allowed to refuel Q400s with passengers on board, so we had two choices; disembark the passenger or call the airport fire brigade. What followed next was one of the reasons I enjoyed working on the ramp so much at BHD; the team lead decided to call the fire service because it would cause less distress to the passenger than disembarking them, and sod the delay to the flight. We never did find out what the passenger thought when the Q400 was suddenly surrounded by three Dragons!-Dai

This tool will save my bacon. I was getting geared up to create some kind of a visual helper with the SFXs in the FS... and then came along this... I have been spending countless hours testing the effects, going back and forth from the sim and editor.

For example, trying to edit/view the fx_landing.fx file will quickly get you nowhere, since the "beam" isn't aligned parallel to the ground......but then again, I haven't RTFM'ed any of the tool's docs yet! :-hah
