Hi all,this is happening in FS9 and not in FSX.The XML line from one of my gauges,can cause a CTD, especially if the graphics card is by ATIInterestingly, the linefrom the default GPS500 gauge does not cause a problem.Any ideas?cheers,Nick

Remove the LineWidth.

Nick, I reported on this issue over a year ago now. I had to abandon the use of the opaque dimming masks for just that reason.Well, actually, I supplied two versions of the gauge: one with and another without, and left the customer to make the swap if they had problems with transparency... :-eek I even wrote to Susan Ashlock directly and she didn't have a clue either... *:-*

This mainly happens with ATI cards, not sure if you can>read anything from this fact.Oddly enough Nick, I never had the problem with my ATI Radeon X700 Pro card.It wasn't until ready for beta testing that the problem appeared, and then on a variety of systems with a random mix of ATI and nVidea cards.
