ESTA or I 95W on transatlantic flight?

Recommended Posts

Hello all,Me and my girlfriend are flying to Washtington D.C. via Atlanta, GA in December. The departure airport is Stuttgart, Germany ( EDDS, STR ), the airline is Delta Air Lines. Now my question: Since we only have 1h45mins to get our connection flight to DCA ( If flight DL117 from STR arrives at ATL on time ) would it be better to use the ESTA online registration or the I 95W form sheet aboart the flight from STR? I ask this because since we are citizens of Germany we have to go through customs in ATL and I am afraid that there is insufficient time to get the connection. Any suggentions? Thanks mixen82

Its gonna be real close. KATL customs actually moved pretty quick when I flew there from Stockholm in the summer. It was the connecting flight checkin that was a disaster for us and also the 1
