August 11, 200817 yr Commercial Member Those aircraft configurators that allow you to change the weight and balance on the ground - do they do it 'on the fly' (so to speak) by modifying the aircraft.cfg file? If so, how does it work because I've always believed that the aircraft.cfg file is read at load time and thereafter ignored. Yes, I would like to implement a similar system but if I can't, I'm not that fussed - I'll just pretend that my load factors are always 100%.-Dai
August 11, 200817 yr Dai, the short answer is NO. All of them that I know do modify aircraft.cfg, which as you state is read once at load time only.BUT depending on which values you want to actuate would be possible to find one of the latest SP2/Accelerator variables like STATION LOAD, FUEL DUMP, etc., accesable via Simconnect interface.Tom
