February 7, 200323 yr Hi All.I've added a new TDF calculator that simply takes Decimal Latitude and Longitude... so it is more convenient for use with TMFViewer. You can 'set' the lat-long by left clicking a location in TMFViewer, then rightclick and select "set lat/long jump target".Now, under the menu "Jump" + "Lat Long" you can cut'n'paste those values into TMFViewerCalc.... or manually enter the decimal degrees to TMFViewerCalc.TDFCalculatorsAll.zipDick
February 7, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Dick:wonderful - looks like a great tool! Thank you!My question, doubtlessly asked before: where can a poor sob that bought the FS2002 Standard version get a copy of Tmfviewer.exe, if at all? It doesn't seem to be incorporated into any of the scenery utilities or SDK documents.Cheers, Holger
February 7, 200323 yr Author Hi Holger. Here's the link:FS2002 Custom Terrain Texture SDK ( inside the 'Terrain Tools' folder ).Dick

February 8, 200323 yr Good Morning Dick:Quick question...Does TDFCalculatorsAll.zip effectively replace "CellGrid2" and its packaged, TDFCalc? Thanks for adding to our toolchests. :) Tom G, Sr.
February 8, 200323 yr Author Hi Tom.No, this doesn't replace Cellgrid. It's just a collection of the current TDFcalculators I'm using. This particular file has just a slightly different input format ( decimal degrees, for a bettter interface with TMFViewer ).If I was a better programmer, I'd be able to combine them all together as one program. But, I'm just a hack. :(Beside, I kind of like simple, specific tools, anyways. You can post them at your sight if you like, but I don't believe I have any instructions with them. Designers familiar with VTP and LWM design would have no problem with them... but newbies??? ( actually it is a more advanced-type of tool ).Dick
