What is AFCAD??

Featured Replies

I live in Vancouver, Canada and would very much like to get a real-to- life airport(CYVR)ramp ie. proper docking bridges/gates. Some scenery files say I have to have AFCAD. If so, can someone tell where I can download it and what it is used for?

You can download AFCAD here in the file library. With AFCAD you can add extra gates for the AI traffic (not visual gates, only for the AI). Also you can adjust the track they drive.Arno

I am in the final throes of a detailed design of CYVR to replace my previous version and it is at my beta testers right now. If you want to beta test it too, send me your e-mail address. This version will only be the airfield, north terminal and the two AC hangers. Buildings and airfield are all essentially correct in location and dimension, I got maps, photos and drawings from the CYVR engineering staff a couple of years ago.I am also organizing a FlightSim club at the West Van Seniors Centre the first Friday of the month at 1pm and the next meeting is on March 7 and you are [email protected]
