How to get rid of the default MS around-the-airport texture...

Featured Replies

I am doing a new version of a stock MS FS2004 airport. My version has a smaller clear-cut area around the perimeter. As a result there is an area between my exclude area and the general landscape textures. By looking at it, it seems like a semi-transparent overlay over the general landscape textures.Does anybody know how I can get rid of this semi-transparent stock texture ?Thanks

I assume you mean the default grass texture? You can remove this by making a VTP exclude. You can do this for example with DefArea.

Thanks..What does VTP mean exactly ? And I presume DefArea is another application ? I am using FSSC latest version. Thanks

VTP is Vector Terrain Polygon. These are the mesh polygons that are used for the default grass. DefArea is indeed a small tool that can make such excludes.
