November 18, 200322 yr I am doing a new version of a stock MS FS2004 airport. My version has a smaller clear-cut area around the perimeter. As a result there is an area between my exclude area and the general landscape textures. By looking at it, it seems like a semi-transparent overlay over the general landscape textures.Does anybody know how I can get rid of this semi-transparent stock texture ?Thanks
November 18, 200322 yr Commercial Member I assume you mean the default grass texture? You can remove this by making a VTP exclude. You can do this for example with DefArea. November 18, 200322 yr Author Thanks..What does VTP mean exactly ? And I presume DefArea is another application ? I am using FSSC latest version. Thanks
November 18, 200322 yr Commercial Member VTP is Vector Terrain Polygon. These are the mesh polygons that are used for the default grass. DefArea is indeed a small tool that can make such excludes.
