December 16, 200322 yr I would like to thank the following who provided the software which enabled me to attempt to provide a solution to the incorrect placement of the lakes in the English Lake District and to fill the lakes in the VFR scenery with water.Jim Keir for LWMViewer which allowed removal of the default flattens/lake outlines.Steve Greenwood for FSTflatten which allowed me to create accurate lake outline flattens.Luis Filiz-Tirado for suggesting the alpha mask method.Richard Ludowise for Tcalc2004 which identified the required scenery textures.Martin Wright for DXTBmp and Tview which allowed me to create the alpha masks.Here are a few shots of the work in progress.
