Mike, First off let me say I am enjoying zipping around in your Meridian! Its great on Frame rates and the potential for some cool repaints will be realized soon:) I truly appreciate your efforts and use a bunch of stuff you have done in the recent past. You are an excellent modeler and an asset to the community. Tonight I went for a ride in the Meridian and something was bugging me about the proportions I could not put my finger on. So i took a screenshot or two and did some simple tweaking in MS paint. I went to a few sites with photos and found some line drawings to use as ref. What I came up with is I think the wingspan and chord are a bit off making it look kind of like your in a fisheye lens so i changed it. Chopped a few fet off the right wing and tail and personally I think this nails the "look". Also I think the nose lines are just a bit on the blunt side and it could be more pointy if you will, leading into the spinner. Really these are minor nitpicks. I included my crude paint attempt just to show you. Im not a modeler but thought it was worth bringing up as this is one nice little aircraft and I thought it could be made that much better. I would do it myself but I just don't know how. I appreciate your thoughts and intend no criticism other than the constructive kind. I also understand if you don't want to mess with it! I won't mind a bit if you tell me to take a flying leap! :) You never get anywhere if you don't ask in the first place! I appreciate ANY feedback you have and again thanks for everything you have done! Here's the shots, the red lines you see are the old wing/tail outlines.Hornithttp://flightsimmers.net/airport/hornit/mm.jpghttp://flightsimmers.net/airport/hornit/mm1.jpg

This is a nice plane! But I have a stupid question, Where's the VSI?

Maybe it's just an optical illusion because of the boots on the leading edge?Tim13

Hey Hornit,How did you do the fix for the wings and tail? I noticed something was odd too, but I could not put my finger on it.Could you send the fixed plane to me, of course with Mike's approval first!!!?Thanks.Later,Jay

I didn't fix it!! :) All I did was doctor the screenshot up in paint! I don't have Mike's permission to do anything yet. I am installing gmax though to see what I can learn. All I would like to do is do the fixes I show in that shot. I think anyone who knows Gmax could probably do it easily.Hornit

Well Im not "knockin" it really. I would be just fine if Mike doesn't do anything with it. I had a concern and put it forth in a polite constructive manner. If he chooses to ignore it than fine..no sweat. :) I have been following a lot of threads including criticism and I think there is a bit of over reacting going on. In my opinion folks are just trying to help out. We all want to share our opinions, some just don't have the tact to do it politely is all.Hornit
