I found that I was not using true north-south coordinats. I was trying to exclude a thin rectangle on runway 1's axis. This made the north longitude to be east of the south longitude. Make sense? I retried and made a north-south box. ExcBuilder worked. However, the trees are still there despite the inclusion of Fairbanks-exclude.bgl in the Addon Scenery/Scenery folder. I.E., nothing seems to be excluded. Getting closer; still baffeled...Steve

Success! :-beerchug :-jumpy Tried it one last time, expanding my box and using true heading vice magnetic (at Fairbanks, this makes a difference).... Now the airport is flat and tree-free! Thanks for all the help, guys! :-beerchug
