July 2, 200421 yr hello there: I am using jetways2 to add some boarding bridges during SceneGenx, but it is so unconveniently to put the bridges to a nice position that fit the building. every time i do is get in fs2004 and take a aircraft to the position i want, then record the datas, back to SceneGenx, put the bridge to that position, back to fs2004 have look first, then switch to SceneGenx again, until it looks correctly.is there any tips can do the little-adjustment for a 3-d object? thankx

Once you have positioned it correct, it should allow you to place them rather accurate. For positioning and scaling a screenshot I usually use a runway or something else you know the position and size of. July 3, 200421 yr You will need a program to take a screen shot, such as , fsscreen.zip, snapshooter211_ful_142855.zip.Once you have one of the screen savers installed, start flight simulator at the airport of your choice. Press the period key to release the parking brakes. Enter the slew mode (Y) and the top down view mode (CTRL+S). Press the Space Bar to orient the aircraft to North. Raise and lower the top down view by select Views, View Options, Altitude (AGL) so you can see the entire airport on your monitor screen. Press ALT+Enter to go to full screen mode, readjust any parameters to ensure the entire airport is shown on the monitor screen. Note, the larger the image, the more detail you will have when using the screen shot as a background bitmap.Make your bitmap using the instructions provided by the screen saver program. Rename the saved bitmap file and place a copy of the file in your Airport for Windows, SceneGenX, FSSC, or other program.Use the instructions provided in you Scenery Design program to place and scale the bitmap. You will need to use a ruler within the program or a known length, such as a runway to place and scale the map.Note: If you place the aircraft at the default airport reference point and can see the entire airport, it will help orient the bitmap in the scenery design program. The red x will be the airport reference point and should match with the reference point set in the scenery design program. W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
