Effect night lightning

Featured Replies

Hello Guys,I'm using this file for a smoke effect. Is there anyone who has an idea why it is lightened in the night? I tried my best but don't have a clue. :(--------------------------[Library Effect]Lifetime=5Version=2.00Radius=400Priority=0[Properties]Cockpit=1VirtualCockpit=1Spot=1Tower=1Map=1[Emitter.0]Lifetime=0.00, 0.00Delay=0.00, 0.00Bounce=0.00Rate=30.00, 40.00X Emitter Velocity=0.00, 0.00Y Emitter Velocity=0.00, 0.00Z Emitter Velocity=0.00, 0.00Drag=0.00, 0.00X Particle Velocity=-2.00, 2.00Y Particle Velocity=10.00, 35.00Z Particle Velocity=-2.00, 2.00X Rotation=0.00, 0.00Y Rotation=0.00, 0.00Z Rotation=0.00, 0.00X Offset=0.00, 0.00Y Offset=0.00, 0.00Z Offset=0.00, 0.00Pitch=0.00, 0.00Bank=0.00, 0.00Heading=0.00, 0.00[Particle.0]Lifetime=4.00, 25.00Type=19X Scale=1.50, 5.00Y Scale=1.50, 10.00Z Scale=0.00, 0.00X Scale Rate=0.15, 0.15Y Scale Rate=0.15, 0.15Z Scale Rate=0.00, 0.00Drag=-3.00, -1.00Color Rate=0.00, 0.00X Offset=0.00, 0.00Y Offset=0.00, 0.00Z Offset=0.00, 0.00Fade In=0.00, 0.00Fade Out=0.50, 0.50Rotation=-20.00, 20.00Face=1, 1, 1[ParticleAttributes.0]Blend Mode=1Texture=fx_1.bmpBounce=0.00Color Start=160, 164, 164, 100Color End=160, 164, 164, 255Jitter Distance=0.03Jitter Time=0.30TempK=107.50TempRate=0.1uv1=0.00, 0.50uv2=0.50, 1.00X Scale Goal=900.00Y Scale Goal=900.00Z Scale Goal=0.00-----------------------------Best regards,Sascha

Hi Sascha,I assume you're triggering this effect via the [LIGHTS] section? If so, that's what seems to happen with all effects triggered this way. At least I haven't been able to stop the "nuclear glow" from happening, even with the Shade parameter set in the [Particle] section.Maybe someone else has found a solution???Cheers, Holger
