Filling the "gaps" between ground polygons

Recommended Posts

Hello !I've problem with my photoreal scenery. I perfecly conneted 16 ground polygons to cover 2048x2048m area ( 512x512 textures ) but there are gaps between polygons that spoil all scenery :-/ ( see attachment ) I checked 10 times that vertex are prefectly connected with each other but I'm still have these gaps . Scnery is compiled with fs2002 gamepack and "ADDCAT OBJECT_0_SCALE, 8 " command. Can I use 2048x2048 texture or it will cause serious performance hit ? regardsEricson

Hi Ericson,Did you place all the tiles in one scene? From the screenshot it looks more like a color difference between the two images than a gap to me.For my own photo scenery I use 1024x1024 textures, to keep the number low. Any bigger than 1024x1024 is not really adviced.
