AFCAD Problem

Featured Replies

I am not sure whether this is the best place to raise an AFCAD problem, but I am using Lee Brompton's excellent AFCAD for Nigel Grant's CYVR scenery. It works fine in FS but AFCAD 2.21 does not recognize this one airport (nor does FlightSim Comander). Given that Vancouver International is my base, I would appreciate any thoughts on how to overcome the problem.Peter Lowry

Hi,May I suggest you better install the Afcad + update/fix ILS from Nigel Grant CYVR scenery ?On AVSIM: search under "Nigel Grant CYVR".Greetz. Jos

Thanks very much for your suggestion but I cannot find anything resembling an AFCAD + update file on AVSIM for Nigel's CYVR4. He appears to have three files: CYVR4, CYVR4fix, and CYVR4.1 all of which I have installed. Is there something else?Peter.

Hi PeterJust seen your post and I do not fully understand your problem - do you mean my CYVR does not show or you cannot callup the AFCAD file in AFCAD2.21. Note that Lee Bromley's AFCAD does not have the same file name as mine, and I think if you re-name an AFCAD file everything reverts to default. Maybe give a call (604 922-0059).I am just finishing off a final update to 7.2 and I am using Lee Bromley's AFCAD as my seed. The AFCAD file is an integral part of my sceneryNigelVancouver
