May 15, 200620 yr Use an Exclusion Rectangle? Jon ------- Microsoft Flight Sim MVP Airport Design Editor FSDeveloper.com
May 15, 200620 yr An exclusion rectangle is used by FS to remove objects from an area. I assume that you have FS9.You can write them yourself in xml and compile them using bglcomp but probably the easiest is to get a copy of exeBuilder2 which is in the AVSIM file library. This program uses the position of your aircraft in the Sim to create the top left and bottom right corners of the rectangle and then create the exclusion file for you. So you can create a small rectagnle round the building and hopefully remove it. This may not work if this building has been placed by a third party addon. May 15, 200620 yr Hi Jerel:>I did a search in the avsim library for exeBuilder2 and>cannot find it. Any ideas?Yes...Idea Number 1.You may want to read thoroughly the Beginner's Guide to Scenery Design pinned at the top of this forum.Idea Number 1a.Conduct a thorough search within the MSFS Scenery Design Forum. This particular topic has been previously explored.Idea Number 2.If, after searching the File Library, here at avsim, you still can't find excbuilderv2.zip. You can secure a copy at our Website www.scenery.org look in Design Utilities "B".Idea Number 3.Not sure how to use the program in question? download "Using the ExcBuilder Program" a concise guide available in our Tutorials area, under the Miscellaneous category.Good LuckTom G, Sr.
