June 24, 200619 yr Is there a simple way to geographically unlock objects so that you can use them in your own sceneries. I've searched for this, but I found the answers very confusing and ambiguous. Thanks,Andreas
June 24, 200619 yr You need to de-compile them and then re-compile them into a new library with a different GUID ( Global Unique Identifier). A lot of this has already been done by the guys using EZ-Scenery. Most of the re-compiled libraries are on AVSIM. You may want to check herehttp://www.flightsim-bevs.com/smf_1-0-5/index.php?board=59.0There is a list of the scenery libraries created by users near the top Jon ------- Microsoft Flight Sim MVP Airport Design Editor FSDeveloper.com

But I don't think both approaches are really nice, as you are modifying and redistributing default scenery files. That is something we should always be careful with.
