I've successfully created a flatten for a particular airport using bln2shp and shp2vec, shp2vec produced the file cvx0501.bgl. However, there is now a dilemma, what happens if someone else creates another flatten in area 0501 and creates a file of the same name? This seems somewhat reminiscent of JABBgl which modified the FS9 default AP files.Can I rename cvx0501.bgl or does FSX need to have a fixed filename?George

Hi George.You can rename the file anything you like. You also can rename the sourcefiles... just keep the prefix ( for example FLX0501.??? can all be renamed FLXMyFlattens.??? and the will compile to cvxMyFlattens.bglDick
