I used the addon scenery tool to add a "secret island" and I also added it's runway. How do you get the runway to raise out of the water?

Hi,If would help if you tell us which tool you used and also for which version of FS you made this island.I think the general answer is that you need to make a flatten, so that you can raise the ground around your runway.

I used the "object placement tool" tht comes with the FSX SDK. In the mission, "Tokyo Exec", the runway rises out of the water. Maybe if I tune to a certain radio frequency?

Hi,I looked at the Tokyo airport and it seems to just have a flatten to raise it above the water level. But you can not make runways with the object placement tool of course, you'll need to do that with BGLComp (XML) or a GUI that helps you in making the XML code. Same for the flatten, you can make it with the SDK tools (shp2vec) or use a GUI to help you.
