Is It Possible To Use An AI plane As A Scenery Object?

Featured Replies

The title pretty much says it all. I would like to place AI planes as scenery objects with the Object Placement Tool and be able to see them in a regular freeflight. I don't want them to move, I would like them to be static. Is this possible? Thanks.

Yes, kind of, some what.I would approach this not as a scenery issue, but as an AI issue. Take the plane that you want to be static, assign it a parking spot at the (an) airport and make an AI flightplan where it flies a shot out and back in the middle of the night, say between 0100 to 0400. Unless you're simming at that time, the plane should be located in it's parking spot.
