Using the Autogen Annotator

Recommended Posts

Luis, thank you! I really needed that information. Thanks for taking the time to put the tutorial together.I do have a question. I don't see anything about loading libraries and the annotator on my system has the button for libraries grayed out. The box below says 'MSXML error'. Any ideas?

The shipping version of FS X did not include a copy of the default.xml file in the Autogen SDK folder - we had to place one in there ourselves.I think that the Service Pack 1 (SP1) did finally create that file in there.Without it, the Library objects cannot be used in the Annotator.Best regards.Luis

I tried re-installing the SDK SP1 and the default.xml file was not in the Autogen SDK folder. When I copy it over, it doesn't load. If I load it manually I get an Open Error message "AceXML Parser Error: Autogen - line 2, col 0. HRESULT=0x83600fb7".GRRRRRRR!!! They don't make this easy.

Sorry to trouble You with this - a really noob question, but as Elvis said: " I searched and I searched, but I couldn't find . . .", so where on Earth (this forum, I mean) is this autogen tutorial You talk about?A link would be much appreciated, thanks. As we all know, every little bit of information helps.

Oh, I see. A little missunderstanding on my side here, I thought there is another one hidden somewhere inside the forums - the one that's available for download from the library found it's place on my disk the same day as published - thank's for Your prompt reply Louis.
