I have a great deal of excellent freeware Mesh created by a variety of wonderful people here - Thank you ALL - you are too numerous to nameMy question isSince I am highly unlikely to upgrade to FSX for a variety of reasons - is there still going to be development and improvements made to FS9 Mesh OR is FSX mesh suitable?

Unlike FS 9 mesh, that only included 1 unique LOD level per file, FS X mesh can, and most likely always will, include multiple LODs in each bgl.Since there are all the required LODs already calculated in the file, no processor cycles are expended in FS X for this, thus performance is enhanced.So, FS X altitude mesh, being different in this way, may not work correctly in FS 9.Best regards.Luis
