One of our readers asked me a question... and I don't have the answer. I wonder if any of you FS2002 users can help us out here.It's about a number of airports in the Kansas city area... I included some pictures of KMCI (Kansas City International) to show you what the problem is. It apparently also happens at KMKC Downtown KC airportKOJC Johnson County Executive in Olathe, KSKJEF Jefferson City, MissouriKFLV Sherman AAFBasically it appears that the platform textures 'disappear' when you approach the airfield and turn into grass when close by. Very strange. A colleague of mine with a GeForce3 card says he sees no problems.My system is a 1.2 Ghz AMD, 384 mb RAM, GF2 MX200 32 Mb grahics, Windows ME.Any ideas ????? Francois,I get the same problem and that's with a GF3Ti200 64MB card, 512MB RAM and an AMD XP1800.I guess this is caused by the same problem as the 'flashing' runway textures only this is more pronounced.And a patch is not needed?????With luck the ad-on scenery guys will bail MS out again ;-)

I was at KMCI recently :-) and noticed the same thing. Had to park on the grass because of the missing apron, very strange. Happend with a GeForce2 GTS-DDR card.
