Question About Aircraft.cfgs

Featured Replies

I would like to add vapor trails to all of my aircraft. I am wondering what the numbers mean in the aircraft.cfg. Obviously it has to do with the placement of where the trails come off the aircraft model, but what does each number designate? Also what does the +/- mean? I have been able to add this effect to one of my aircraft so far, but I have had problems with doing others due to my lack of knowledge and bad estimation regarding the aircraft.cfg. I would like to add this to the flap edges on some aircraft as well. I know this can be done quite easily if I could pinpoint the position with accurate .cfg numbers. Can anyone help me out? Here's the successful attempt so far...http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3ce28e1b31dd1287.jpgSincerely,http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3ce0b31601f8279e.jpg

What exactly did you do in the aircraft.cfg file? If you would paste the section your talking about, you might get more responses. Since I live in a high humidity area, I see vapor trails on aircraft but not on days when the humidity is low. Are you trying to adjust the vapor trails to relative humidity?
