You probably have saved me many days and nights of work here. I've been in the process of adding parking and scenery at many of the FSX military airports that only have a "fuel" spot. I've used a few AFCADs I've DL'd here ( for FS9 ) and used them as a base to run them through Airport Design Editor and FS Planner, then compiling them with the FSX SP2 SDK BGLcomp. Some of the airports I did from scratch, like Edwards and the Tonopah Test Range but most are tweaked conversions. My next step will be to create the flightplans and, of course, find the necessary AI aircraft. You've solved that issue, methinks, with the above link :) As a side note, while creating the Tonopah Range package I found the need to use FSX_KML and ScenGenX since the default FSX airport is totally unrealistic. I gained the knowledge of creating sloped terrain "flattens" to remove the "plateau" that is often created when you modify a default airport. While not perfect, the overall appearance is a darn site better than the default :) So, anyone planning on using some FS9-imported AFCAD's in FSx should also get familiar with the new FSX tools available from, among others, fsdeveloper.com. >Hi,>>Glad to help both of you.>>BTW, you do know that the Acceleration addon pack has a>detailed scenery for Edwards, right?>>-->Tom Gibson>>Cal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com>>Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com>>Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Yes, but there is ZERO parking provided! Seems a bit strange to put all that work into making a scenically great airport and then not go the extra 2000M and include parking spaces. That's why I was editing KEDW. Now I'll be able to populate it with AI as well as TNX and several other military airports in FSX that have no parking or only a fuel box. Spent all of last night redoing PHNL/Hickam. The FS2004 AFCAD for PHNL with Hickam parking doesn't match with the default scenery so I had to resort to using ADE to add the Hickam parking to the default PHNL. Paul ( still scratching my head over the KEDW shortcoming )
