Hi Steve, Guys,A while ago I created some NEW Runway and Taxiway lights textures and created an effect which shows the lights submerged into the aprons along with a Light cast on the ground. All the lights are relative to each other in order of size, However although I'm pleased with the result theres just one more thing I would like to add that would really add to the overall effect.Would I need is someone to produce the Approach Light Stanchions. There would have to be three in total each one slightly smaller than the previous one. If anyone could get a brite light on their aswell then that would be fantastic.Ive attached some pics to hopefully show you what I mean. Please let me know what you think??Thanks for you timeJohn

Wow John,This is a cool idea! :-eek The lights that are sunk into the runway like that are great, just what we need for the Airports. I hope someone can create the Approach Light Stanchions. I dont have a clue how to do it, but others who can do the models like Harald Kraft may have an idea, adding the lights to them may be the hardest though.I think you may have started a new project here.OK you programmers and modellers... get to work ;-) All The BestSteve[/div] http://mysite.freeserve.com/fly2theuk/aragon.jpg][/divSceneryhttp://ftp.avsim.com/library/search.php?Se...y2tms&Go=SearchRepaintshttp://ftp.avsim.com/library/search.php?Se...y2Air&Go=SearchOther fileshttp://ftp.avsim.com/library/search.php?Se...2Misc&Go=Search

John,Great idea and pictures. I'm a relative newbie and have no idea about the stanchions but have a couple of questions.Firstly, where did you get the EGCC airport buildings from?Secondly, how did you get the very realistic misty/foggy appearance?:-wave

Hi Flyfisher :-wave The scenery is my creation and you can find it if you click on the scenery link below. You will also find Manchester Barton & Manchester Woodford.Drop your clouds to ground hight ........ Hi There,Also turn down your visibility to 1 mileRegards John

Yip,thanks John its been a while since I did that. I was wondering why I couldnt replicate it again. Hows your project coming along? Has anyone got back to you?All The BestSteve[/div] http://mysite.freeserve.com/fly2theuk/aragon.jpg][/divSceneryhttp://ftp.avsim.com/library/search.php?Se...y2tms&Go=SearchRepaintshttp://ftp.avsim.com/library/search.php?Se...y2Air&Go=SearchOther fileshttp://ftp.avsim.com/library/search.php?Se...2Misc&Go=Search

Hi Steve,No, not as yet.......I would have thought the Stanchions are easier enough to make though??. If someone could make these so they can be placed in situ...........via the editor....I think they would still make a great addition to the FLY environment (even without the Lights).Steve, I also want to talk to you about the EGCC scenery you've created............which is superb!!.......I basically need to ask a few quections.......If you could send me your Email address I'll be able to show you what I'm talking about.Cheers John
