March 4, 200323 yr One of the main problems with TerraScening portions of the western coastal regions of Florida has been missing USGS land-use data for that region. The missing data leaves many of the streets of Tampa and environs under water when you attempt to TerraScene the area.Following a recent request, I have created and uploaded a TS project pack for the global tile Tampa and other area cities sit on, replacing the missing USGS data with shapefile information. All of this data is included in the pack - all you have to do is place the files and click the render button. http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e6445761c4c54cb.jpg http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e6445b81cbb70ab.jpg http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e6446021d3bcba1.jpg http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e6446401d82641b.jpg Randall Rocke
March 4, 200323 yr Author Colin,I would have loved to edit in more of the beaches using your TerraShape program - just didn't have enough time right now. As it is, I found enough new Tiger Arc data so that a number of them were added, but certainly only a minority in the non-USGS areas. Maybe I can find some time for that in the future. Randall Rocke
March 4, 200323 yr Randall, thanks so much for all the efforts you've put into this! Inputting the shapefile info is quite time consuming, am sure. So once again, many thanks on your efforts for scenery and the DEXes you make for corrections! Many Cheers,Ken Wood :-sun1 ___________________________ Kenneth E Wood Jr 🌪️🌩️ ex AG1, USN (14yr Vet) Weather Foecaster
