How to properly update video driver in Windows XP?

Recommended Posts

OK, I am biting the bullet and updating to the 23.11 drivers. I am using the GeForce3 Ti200 card and have downloaded the file containing the executable winxp2311.exe. What comes next?? Perhaps someone using XP can share with me how they did it or maybe reference a tutorial. Thanks for your help!;)Airbus

If like Win98, just executing the file will invoke a driver installer routine. I have WinXP, but have yet to try this, so you might wait and see if anyone else has any ideas. I gather you have downloaded the XP version of the driver?Bruce.

Go to control panel, add and remove programs. Remove the current drivers and then run the .exe for the new ones. That should be all there is to it.
