Some hidden (free) treasures

In an era where freeware quality addons are becoming rare, it's always a pleasure to come across sceneries which can compete with the best AND are free. All the more when you find something which is not widely known, because the author didn't upload to the major flightsim websites.Such an example is a new freeware scenery of EBBR Brussels International Airport by Robert Buysen. It's far better than the payware version for FS98 in Airport 2000 by Wilco. It also contains the brand new Schengen terminal A, which opened about a week ago. Robert is still working on the scenery, but what you can download is already very complete and of outstanding quality.Go take a look at http://users.pandora.be/robert.buysen.fs2000.pages/Robert also made a beautiful rendition of EBAW Deurne, the (small) international airport of Antwerp Belgium. You can't find it on his own website, but on the website of the Flight Sim Club Belgium (FSCB) at this address: http://www.fscb.be/be_scenery.htmlYou'll find some other very nice sceneries of small Belgian airfields there, and most of them have never been uploaded to the major sites.Another example of outstanding freeware scenery which is not widely known, can be found at the Italian Scenery Design project (ISD), with beautiful versions of Genova Sestri and Bergamo. The address is: http://www.isdproject.com/index.htmIf you know where some other of these lesser known gems are, let us know!Paul

Many thanks, Paul. I've been looking for some Italian airports and I just found them at the link you mentioned.Cheers

Thanks for the tip about the Brussels scenery, Paul. I just installed it, and it looks great. It's just too easy to overlook the top quality addons when we have so many new files to choose from every day.- Oyvind

Paul,So many things to find;so little time. Many thanks for leading us to these fine sceneries!JackD

These scenery additions are terrific - in particular, Roberts Brussels (EBBR) is excellent - well worth downloading !!!(And look out for Michels Lago FSSE enhancements to further 'bring the airport to life'.)Congratulations to very talented designers and thanks to Paul for finding them.B.T.W. does anybody know of a good rendition of Rome Ciampino for FS2002?
