  1. Hey, Chris. So nice to see you drop in. I wish there were more here for nostalgia sake. I am limiting myself now to FU3. Believe it or not, its weather system still feels better than MSFS 2020 (haven't gotten 2024). I hope you and your family are in good health. Take care. Naji
  2. Any last warrior here? Patrikmore? I am loving FU3 more and more, hehe. Looking Glass gave us 367 flt3.cfg parameters to set up the sim to our heart's content. Especially with the help of ChatGPT. Amazing how much it can explain each parameter and suggest realistic improvements. Not only that, it can tweak the combo of cfg and dgvoodoo and reshade to give the ultimate experience in FU3. It helped me get FU3 to use Nvidia card on my laptop instead of Intel graphics. I had tried many times to do that to no avail. I keep dropping in here, read some of the past threads that contain excellent insights. Don't give up on it.
  3. It is nice patrikmore to see how much pleasure you are deriving from FU3. As to me, whenever I crave flying in rain (I love rain and dark weather), I jump into FU3. FS2020 still doesn't have that magic feel of flying in a rainy or stormy weather as FU3.
  4. It flies OK for me. I don't like flying it, just tried it to see if there are issues. There aren't that I could notice.
  5. Very nice shot with a lovely repaint.
  6. I really like NRM, and I look forward to that service pack. Many THANKS to Holger and the team working on it for that.
  7. Well said, Jeroen. Valid points!
  8. Right. Got it. Done it..Thank you Bliksimpie. Good find.
  9. Hi Bliksimpie.I placed the entry you mentioned, which I wasn't aware of before, and I got such missing messages. I had to disable two sceneries, one freeware for an airport in Vancouver island, and the other this latest offering by Vlad.Even the latest Orbx libs that came out now didn't solve it for CEJ4
  10. Yes, me too. Installed perfect and I installed after it the libs 111207
  11. Thank you Bryan for the info. What about mesh, landclass and coasts, any preference?
  12. Thank you very much, Vlad Maly and Orbx. NRM region sure needs all the airfields we can get.And from the photo that Vlad has shown, it looks like a superb addon. Thanks again, Vlad :(http://fullterrain.com/freeware/ORBX_CEJ4_001.zip
  13. Thank you Arnie.Kind regardsNaji
  14. I am finding myself mostly enjoying the plains in Orbx land. Orbx has really excelled in those areas, giving quite a natural look to how fields and plains "flow" :(. The textures in all seasons are superb.I am flying a lot over the plains extending south from Portland and those stretching east from Vancouver. The latter are especially nice for a quick flight.
  15. Hi, Jean-Paul.Same thing happened with me a few weeks back when I posted about how outstanding the Tecnam Sierra is. When I saw that the thread disappeared, I sent a message to Jay Kae, who explained that it competes with Orbx Lancair, even though imo the planes belong to different categories, the Lancair being quite fast whereas the Sierra slow.So I guess same thing happened to your thread. They view these two planes as competing products.
  16. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this offering by Ant's Airplanes yesterday. The Tecnam Sierra is such a favorite of mine that I bought the Eaglet on the spot, without waiting for feedback. And it doesn't disappoint: for low and slow, it is fabulous.Thank you Anthony for a great plane :(
  17. Well, unlike Jeroen, I fly a lot in NZSI, NRM and CRM. I love them all :smile:But most of my flying is done in PNW, for the simple reason that all the NA airfields released by Orbx are concentrated in PNW.
  18. Jefferson Co has become a favorite. If you can fly satisfactorily around Skagit and Anacortes, then you will be fine around J-Co and Diamond Point
  19. They are now available for download on Orbx website.Amazing how Orbx keep improving their products, releasing patches now and again. Thank you Orbx, Graham Eccleston and Jared Charalambous
  20. On my system, I have noticed that blurries get eliminated by using the FSX internal framerate limiter. I use 30 fps. Blurries were pronounced with internal fps unlimited and external fps 25.Try such a change and see if there is an improvement. Mind you, blurries were happening anywhere I flew, and not specifically in the area you mention.
  21. Well chosen, Tom, and congratulations, Steven.I guess I will be visiting this forum a lot. It is nice to discuss our beloved Orbx sceneries in a more communicative forum.
  22. For me it has definitely been the Tecnam. Since I got it I fly it almost all the time.I think I will check out the RV7. Thanks for the feedback, Ron and Jeroen :(
  23. Yes, Brian, as Selkan said your computer should run it well. I have an i7 965 at 3.2/3.3 and GTX 580 and the frames are excellent.Corfu X also by Aerosoft is beautiful but I was disappointed that the island doesn't have autogen all over, only around the town.
  24. And a double WOW..! The textures, autogen, the coastlines... This scenery is extremely charming and well done.I want to thank Aerosoft, Peter Werlitz and Renate Werlitz for this scenery. The roads need to be adjusted a bit (hopefully in a new patch), but the rest is a pleasure to look at and experience.Anyone else likes it as I do?
