Attention Alejandro ...................Pilatus buggy RMI

Featured Replies

G'day Alejandro,Have done some testing about what Pascal said re RMI's.Yes you are correct. The pilatus RMI will work backwards IF THE PILATUS IS THE DEFAULT STARTUP AIRCRAFT. ( there may be other offending aircraft ) What's more this bug is then passed on to ALL subsequent aircraft changes! The default aircraft must set certain parameters (eg DOR of pbg's or more specically the compass card of the RMI) for all aircraft that follow. Even the Cessna 172 DG card worked backwards. However if either the Flyhawk or Kodiak is the default starup aircraft, (and possibly many others - I only tested these two; unfortuately due to exceeding 55 aircraft I was unable to test the TBM700 or the Kingair B-200 as the default.) and then change to the Pilatus all's fine and RMI's work correctly. This bug is readilly repeatable and simple to fix.(workaround)Set the default startup aircraft to either Flyhawk or Kodiak and you will not be plagued by this bug.Thank you PascalCheers,Roger @YSSY

Roger,Thanks for the update. Right now I have the Bell 407 as my default startup aircraft. I'll change it to the Skyhawk to see what happens.Take care,http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/banneraa.jpg
