Runway Lighting

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,I think this has been talked about before but I can't seem to find anything in the search forums. Is it possible to turn on the Runway lighting during the day?I'm pretty sure it used to be possible but this may have been in FLY2k!Many ThanksJohn

G'day John,There was a way to turn on the lights at unattended airstrips in Fly2k. I think it was tapping the backspace Key a few times. I don't if this worked during daylight hours or only after sundown. I haven't tried this in Fly!II but will do so when I go offline tonight.Cheers,Roger @YSSY

Runway lighting is set to mimic the real world schedule for an airport and is set through the runway database. If you change the settings in the DB, you change the type of lighting and/or times.Airports that use pilot-controlled lighting have to be specified as such within the database.
