January 27, 200521 yr It's difficult with a shot here and there to just relate how much these new textures make the landscape come to life. This was taken at 4,000 feet heading north from Roseburg, Oregon towards Eugene. The whole panorama was breathtaking :)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/104969.jpgNow to talk Jak into the updated Sky textures... what ya think?Zane Dr Zane Gard Sr Staff Reviewer AVSIM Private Pilot ASEL since 1986 IFR 2010 AOPA 00915027 American Mensa 100314888
January 29, 200521 yr G'day Zane,>>Now to talk Jak into the updated Sky textures... what ya>think?Go for it Zane !!It may take some pretty slick talking though. Jak has already stated that he is not happy with the way Fly! II cuts off the clouds at their base and fears that HITW would take the blame for this.We all know that such is not the case.So Jak if you are reading this, please reconsider. The only reason that I still keep the original Fly! on my hard disk is the georgeous clouds of HITW.To get those in Fly! II would be my idea of simmers heaven. :-)Cheers,Roger Cheers, Roger http://forum.avsim.net/public/styles_images/flags/au.png
