Greetings everyone! After a little over two years, lots and lots of testing, pulling of hair, more testing - losing more hair... repainting, etc. it is finally ready for a public appearance!Making the landing:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/134666.jpgReady for some fishing:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/134667.jpgMany thanks to everyone at F2FD, ROTW and all who contributed to this project! There will still be a few refinements to come - namely with the panel - but she looks rather good and very fun to fly with! I apologize to the MAC Users at this time - for the floating capability will not be possible for them at this time. Maybe Laurent and I can find someone who can compile the DLL files for Mac... so a future release is still possible! And please, do not hesitate to drop an email with some feedback. That will be in the Readme file (and please - read it! A short Tome, but has some important info for you! And yes, I know most amphibs use blue instead of red for the gear :DHappy Holidays to all!Ken Wood :-sun1http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannernewkw.jpgGateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock

G'day Ken,Very nice model, Love the landing screenshot. It's just the thing every serious angler should have at his disposal to take him to where the big ones are biting. :-). As soon as it is available to download I'm off to get it. :-jumpyThanks to all involved in getting this model into Fly! II.Cheers,Roger

Thanks Ken, it is very interesting to have an "hydravion" (= a sea-plane), perhaps this will make some of our creators thinking to build some "hydrobases" for them :-) Did you plan to build a sea-plane just for putting into future sceneries (just a 3D model)?Cheers and happy holidays (for us, here in Europe, no holidays planned before Xmas)Azzurro

Hi Azzurro, I think we can manage to create a basic "prop" version for sceneries to have around. One with wheels down for airstrips, beaches, etc. and one with wheels up for docks, beachings, etc., since Seawind can act pretty much like a boat as well, as seen in this pic (and no gawking, guys!) ;-) : http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/134776.jpgOr this (for you fisherman fanciers...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/134777.jpgCheers!Ken Wood :-sun1http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannernewkw.jpgGateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock

Most welcome, Donny! Hope you will enjoy Seawind. If there is something I can do to help with panel work, just holler at me. ;-) I am no artist, to be sure, but I can get the gauges laid out and tied in with the AMP file. Many cheers!Ken Wood :-sun1http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannernewkw.jpgGateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock

OK Ken, if you can provide the plane and the girls, I will provide the beach and the hydrobase (forget the fishermen, we will not have time enough for fishing) :-hah
