Chris,If you click on the link in the forum lobby labeled "Inactive users", it will tell you this:"In the new AVSIM Forums system, we have the ability to automatically remove inactive users. This keeps the database size down, and allows us to more accurately track the usage of the forums. We have set the system to delete user accounts that have not seen activity; that is, you have not used your account, in three months. Please make sure that your account stays active by visiting the forums at least once every three months."Since it has been almost three months now since the new forums opened, I'd guess that the inactive users just got removed.~Bob~http://www.avsim.com/other/usaribbon.gif

Dear Chris,Just speculating here, but maybe the old forum has finally been purged (with its old subscribers).Lior Bar-On

That's my guess too..that they were serious this time about purging. But, the rules are very leinient. Sooner or later they're going to have to "open the door" for posts months old..this is an extremly active place, and there's only so much room for it all (FREE).
