I checked the Dell site today (as I do every day) to see if there was any progress on my new system. Each day it has told me that the projected ship date is November 4th. This afternoon it suddenly said that it shipped. Right at that moment Fox News Channel switched to "Breaking News..."... they showed a FedEx truck that had blown up and burned... I thought "Yeah right... just my luck!". But Dell has updated my system status again... my system is happily chugging along on UPS. Wheeew! With a little luck I should be up and flying early next week. :)

Tom,Good luck with FU3 and Windows XP :-) If you can get it working smoothly, then it will renew my confidence for when I upgrade next year.Chris Low,ENGLAND.

If you can live with Microsoft keeping track of your computer hardware, WinXP is a great OS. I'll never go back to 98/ME :-beerchug
