After a long time of experiments and analysis I can tell you that the Geos mystery is resolved.Caution - from now this is not just a pit, it's real hard terrain !http://www.agtim.ch/fu3/notapit.jpgMy test ramp was first a nail board http://www.agtim.ch/fu3/ramp01.jpgthen a blackberry surfacehttp://www.agtim.ch/fu3/ramp02.jpgbut now as defined a totally flat ramphttp://www.agtim.ch/fu3/ramp03.jpgAnd so we have now the original elevation quality for the new region alsohttp://www.agtim.ch/fu3/nene01.jpghttp://www.agtim.ch/fu3/nelu01.jpghttp://www.agtim.ch/fu3/nelu02.jpghttp://www.agtim.ch/fu3/nelu03.jpg After checking and finishing the user interface I will upload GeoTilesViewer 3.0in about 1 or 2 weeks.:-wave agtim

That looks unbelievably good at the water's edge.Does this also affect making flat terrains at airports? The Heathrow airport package is supposed to be on a level surface at 76-77 feet, but also shows dips.Rob D.

hi Robert,No alteration of elevation, this is just changing the visual parameters and not the heights itself, so your airport is safe.best regardsAndr

Hi Andr

Nice work Andre. I am looking forward to getting my copy of the UK terrain even more now :-) With respect to "flattening" areas, I assume that this will be possible with the UK scenery region ? A flat surface is a cool place to start when building airports :-coolChris Low,ENGLAND.

Hi Glidernut,Thanks for feedback, unfortunately there are not many lifts in UK, may be when we make a better elevation for Dartmore but the rest is very flat.:-wave agtim

yes that's correct Cristian! When you taxi around the flattened airfield, there are strange depressions whihc you can see but aren't there - you float over the top of them! I was wondering if this problem was fixed by your superflat modification agtim?

Andre,How difficult would it be to get an elevated terrain mesh of the UK scenery to the same resolution as that in the Seattle and SanFran regions ? I assume that this isn't the case at the moment ?Chris Low,ENGLAND.
