February 27, 200323 yr Ansgar was kind enough to send me the pieces of his new Baron complete with occupants. I see where he has put some pics of it on here already... but here are some more:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e5e9cbd14281c72.jpgI'm working on two versions of the Baron... one with Ansgar's paint & one with mine... this is his (obviously)... note the absense of that awful name. ;-) I took it off but have yet to put Baron on.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e5e9d0f161748d6.jpgThe crew. :)http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e5e9d2a1708d080.jpgNote the doors on the right as always... I need to come up with a cockpit door.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e5e9d6117e139c1.jpgAnsgar's textures allow the bogus left side doors to be easily removed. :)http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e5e9db31a58cff5.jpgNice paintjob Mr. Avermeyer... very dignified!http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e5e9dd91b1b0510.jpgOn the 1st version the nosewheel didn't steer on the model... that has now been fixed.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e5e9e141c4b1b5b.jpgNice job, Sir! :-sun1
February 28, 200323 yr Great stuff, Tom (and Ansgar of course!).I'm a bit amused by the people though. The pilot looks like the shot of David Byrne (from Talking Heads) on the cover of 'More songs about buildings and food' (definitely showing one's age here) but I don't remember Tina Weymouth with that much cleavage! I really think she should cover-up a bit around airports or we'll have a lot of taxiway crashes ;)Sorry, no complaints here, I've just read Rob D's latest post and it's done something to my humour valve! Besides, David Byrne is probably an excellent pilot anyway :-hahJon Point*************************([email protected])*************************

February 28, 200323 yr This will certainly be my version of the Baron when it is released..........assuming that the VFR cockpit retains the excellent field of view of the default version :-)Chris Low,ENGLAND. February 28, 200323 yr Hello Peter, thank you for the praise. The upload of the new baron is done now. So try to get some of the expensive fuel at the station and you can fly her in the Bush very soon! ;-)Chris,I
February 28, 200323 yr Chris,I just removed the bogus doors & "Windhawk" name plate. But in response to one of your other posts I plan to put out a version of my Baron 2.1 with this 3D model... hence you get a low VFR panel.
February 28, 200323 yr Thanks Peter but all the credit goes to Ansgar... I just moved a few pixels on 2 of the textures.
