Anybody know if these things are there? I couldn't find 'em.Andrew

I am pretty sure they are in the sim.I flew over them for real in December-if I recall I was on the victor airway that heads to the Lake Hughes vor-takes you right over them-here they are from my plane at about 10,000 ft.http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/geofanim2.gif

The sign is definately there, but I havn't observed the observatory---yet. Seen the sign by flying out of Burbank towards downtown L.A.Most likely also a case of scenery settings, as to whats visible. L.Adamson

(PS: turn up your scenery/object sliders to max)

Andrew,FYI, a gentleman named Ian Yates put out a small FS2002 scenery package named Hollywood.zip in which he "relocated" these two landmarks to where they are in reality. This was in March or April of this year. Evidently, both are in the default scenery but mislocated.Happy flying,Stan

Stan,Ian Yates is Ihor - the link in my earlier reply is to his website where you can get the Hollywood Sign, Griffith Observatory, Chemosphere House, Hollywood Resevoir and his fabulous Santa Barbara Mission, not to mention some great Manchester (England) scenery):-)
