Hey Guys!Before I start, I know the program will be AWESOME!One small problem...I click on the "register" button and the program stops responding.Turned off the firewall, disabled the anti virus program, no help.Started FS2002, then started RC V.3 and clicked the register button... No help.So why can I not register/use the program?What am I doing wrong?BC

do you have the key?click the "send email for key"that will bring up a new email, addressed to [email protected] in your first and last name. the product id is already pre-populated in the email. send the emailrick will send you a keywhen you get the key, copy and paste it into the key field. then press register

This is starting to remind me of an REM song, "What's the frequency.."I have the key. I click on the "Register" button and the program stops responding.Velly Interisting...BC

send your product id to [email protected] are pasting the key into the key field, right? you're not putting it in the product id field, are you?

For what it's worth-I had to be sent two reg numbers from Rick Tompson before it worked-he said it is a problem with using a "large font"-I am using standard windows xp for what that's worth! :-)http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/Geofdog2.gif

I am not getting there! I click on the REGISTER button and the program STOPS RESPONDING.I am NEVER presented with a screen, box or space to input my reg code.I click the button, RC V3 stops working.A new key will not help me as I never get that far.Hope that clarifies things.BC

don't click register.have you sent the product id to [email protected]?have you received the key?do you see the field where the product id, and the field where the key is entered?when you get the key, replace the contents of the key field with your key.then press register.

When RC starts there is a box that says product ID. Copy that Product ID and send it to JD. JD or Rick will send you a key. When you receive that key, copy and paste it in the next box down and then hit register. Don't hit the register key until after you have pasted in your key.Larry

That was sooooooo stupid this thread should be deleted!I thought clicking the register button would present me with a new screen.And I actually READ the instructions....Pasted the reg key into the appropriate field and it worked.In the future, maybe making the field more obvious (different color) may help.Sorry Guys!BC

B,If it's any consolation, I've been using RC since day one of development and still don't see the right field to put the key in. I did make the suggestion to make this more obvious, but what do I know? :-lol
