December 20, 200223 yr Commercial Member i don't have win9x, so i'm going to be guessing here.find the rcv3.exe process, and up the priority to abovenormal, high, realtime - whatever makes rc sound better. JD Read my blog
December 20, 200223 yr Author PK,I see where I can set PV to realtime, but how do I do it for just RC3.exe?Thanks,Ron Bring back Chief Illiniwek!University of Illinois.
December 20, 200223 yr Author In addition to above post,I meant OK,not PK.I see a list of *.exe in Process Viewer but none for RC3.Does it have to be running? Thanks,Ron Bring back Chief Illiniwek!University of Illinois.

December 20, 200223 yr Author Thanks again for the help.I see how to set it but is there a way to save the setting to realtime? When I shut RC down it reverts back to normal. Thanks Ron Bring back Chief Illiniwek!University of Illinois.
December 21, 200223 yr Author Thanks for the info.I ran it in high priority and it worked great. Now the responses come back fast.I guess that is what people are complaining about.I appreciate all the support.Ron Bring back Chief Illiniwek!University of Illinois.
December 22, 200223 yr That's good. I too will be waiting to hear how to keep the "high priority" setting.I should have read this post before posting the same question. Thanks, AdamRon, did you try it in "realtime" as well? If so, how did it work?
December 22, 200223 yr Author I tried realtime first and it was fast,so I tried high priorty and it was a little slower and easier to understand I think but since I have to set it each time I will try realtime again since I have used high priorty the last 3 times.I don't think there was much difference but a big improvement over normal setting. It just continues to amaze me what you can learn from these forums.Ron Bring back Chief Illiniwek!University of Illinois.
