July 27, 200322 yr Commercial Member with the release of fs2004, fsuipc and advdisp have been updated. the current versions are 3.125 and 2.123, respectively.if you are currently running fs98, fs2000, fs2002 and radar contact version 3.0 or 3.01, you can get by with the older versions of fsuipc.only radar contact v3.1 is "accredited" to run with fsuipc 3.07 (which means you can use the free version of fsuipc)here is the link to the current versions of fsuipc, advdisp and widefshttp://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html JD Read my blog

December 9, 200322 yr I have downloaded all the latest versions of fsuipc, AdvDisp, and RC 3.1. What I see in the AdvDisp green window is mostly garbage characters (squares) intersperced with letters from the menus, with missing letters, making it unintelligible. I operate in full screen mode, and notice there is a difference (better, more complete menu) appearance in windowed mode, which I don't like.I have a Dell P4 3.0 with 512mb and an ATI Radeon 9700 with the latest drivers.Any solutions or recommendations?Bill
December 9, 200322 yr It sounds like you need to turn on Adv Display. Please run Flight Simulator and click on the Modules Menu item. The second item on the drop down list should be Adv Display. Please click on it.Adv Display should appear in the top left corner of the Flight Simulator screen. Now you can move and size Adv Display to your liking.

When I try and register an application program in this version of fsuipc and add Radar Contact, it says it needs a product code number. It will not connect with Radar Contact without this code. January 12, 200521 yr It sounds like you did not update your Radar Contact shortcut so it is pointing to rcv31.exe .Please right click on your RCv3 shotcut and choose Properties. Click on the shortcut tab (if not already selected). Change the Target line to read "C:Program Filesrcv31rcv31.exe" .
January 12, 200521 yr Thank you for your answer. I downloaded the wrong file (rcv3.01 instead of 3.1).Now it works, mfg Thorsten
